This full-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist extends through the entire 2026-2027 school year, serving a diverse K-12 population. Located near Pratt, KS, youll play a crucial role in fostering student growth and development.
Ideal candidates bring experience in pediatric and school-based settings, or are working toward their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are strongly encouraged to apply, but CFY applicants will also be considered. This is your chance to work within a collaborative educational environment with students who need your expertise.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- CCC-SLP credentials or in the process of completing CFY
- Familiarity with pediatric and K-12 caseloads in educational settings
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based interventions and individualized student goals
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and IEP reviews
