Multiple speech-language pathologists are needed to work in an in-person setting for the full 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 31, 2026, and concluding June 17, 2027. This contract, full-time opportunity features manageable caseloads, a collaborative staff, and the chance to impact diverse learners in a supportive school community.
Desired qualifications:
- Masters in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active Washington SLP license and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification (copies required with your application)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 45 secondary or 42 elementary students
- Conduct evaluations, develop tailored treatment goals, and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Engage in professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
