What youll need:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure/certification as an SLP
- Minimum of one years experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders as they relate to educational performance
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with children, staff, and families
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Experience with IEP (Individualized Education Program) process and documentation desired
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify needs and develop student-centered intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records and prepare thorough IEP documentation
- Monitor student progress and adapt therapy approaches as needed
- Provide consultation and training as a resource for educators and families
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
