Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state SLP licensure/certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Proven experience working in pediatric or school settings
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for various age groups and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, supporting language, fluency, articulation, and social skills
- Work closely with educators, administrators, families, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer ongoing support, resources, and education to staff and families
