Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia SLP or SLPA license
- Experience in an elementary school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services to students onsite
- Maintain clear and accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to support school staff
