Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in public schools
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Compassion and patience when supporting diverse student populations
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings, develop personalized goals, and collaborate on educational plans
- Deliver therapy through both individual and group sessions
- Offer consultation and resources to teachers and parents for integrated support
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of assessments, progress, and compliance
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
- Support classroom teachers with strategies to facilitate speech and language development
