This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of children aged 35, supporting their communication development and school readiness. With a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, youll enjoy consistent hours while engaging with a diverse and rewarding caseload in a dynamic educational setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Oregon SLP license
- Previous experience providing speech-language services in a school environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere for students of varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students across K-12 settings, including children ages 35 in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) programs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to optimize student progress and support student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation on student progress, treatment plans, and compliance with all regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional learning to enhance service quality
