Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding contract in the vibrant Portland, Oregon area. This position involves working across several school settings, supporting students from elementary through high school age groups. Multiple options are available, including part-time roles at individual campuses or a full-time assignment by combining sites, offering flexibility to suit your preferences and skills. Internal support will be provided to ensure a smooth experience, especially for those electing a full-time schedule across campuses.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in both assessment and intervention for school-aged children, with a commitment to fostering student communication growth.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Valid state license issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent organization to manage caseloads across multiple campuses
- Ability to adapt to the diverse communication needs of students ages K-12
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy services
- Complete assessments and create tailored intervention plans
- Document progress and communicate clearly with educational teams and families
- Serve students at Mountainside High School, Findley Elementary, and ISC programs (various sites)
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student support
