Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or in process of obtaining
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, adapting techniques for various needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and required documentation
  • Work proactively with educators and parents to support students communication growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall student support strategy
