Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible state licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in educational environments
- Comfort working with a diverse student caseload
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Positive, collaborative approach to teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students across various age groups
- Maintain precise documentation for evaluations, progress, and Medicaid billing as required
- Consult and coordinate with teachers, support staff, and families regarding student progress and strategies
- Engage in IEP meetings, offering expertise to support student needs
- Stay current with best practices and compliance standards in school-based therapy
