Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based setting
  • Develop and document Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy to students as indicated by their IEPs
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain timely records
  • Offer support, training, and resources to teachers and family members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other professional development activities
