Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026-2027 school year, based in Portage, IN. These roles support elementary and middle school populations, offering a dynamic and impactful environment for skilled SLP professionals.
Positions Details:
- Contract Duration: August 2026 to May 2027 (exact dates TBD)
- Weekly Hours: 37.5
- Caseload: 45-55 students per clinician
Responsibilities:
- 1st SLP will serve one elementary school and one middle school building.
- 2nd SLP will cover two middle school buildings.
- Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Eligible or certified as an SLP in a school setting
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Open to candidates interested in VOCO (voice or cochlear implant expertise)
