Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026-2027 school year, based in Portage, IN. These roles support elementary and middle school populations, offering a dynamic and impactful environment for skilled SLP professionals.

Positions Details:

  • Contract Duration: August 2026 to May 2027 (exact dates TBD)
  • Weekly Hours: 37.5
  • Caseload: 45-55 students per clinician

Responsibilities:

  • 1st SLP will serve one elementary school and one middle school building.
  • 2nd SLP will cover two middle school buildings.
  • Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Eligible or certified as an SLP in a school setting
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Open to candidates interested in VOCO (voice or cochlear implant expertise)
