Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a contract position supporting grades Pre-K through 12. Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure and/or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience with pediatric populations and a variety of age groups, including Pre-School, Early Childhood, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High School students
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of students across multiple grade levels
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver services in accordance with IEPs and district policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and ongoing communication with stakeholders
  • Educate staff and families about strategies and interventions for communication development
