A dynamic opportunity is available for seven licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential services to K-12 students in the Port Saint Lucie, FL area. This role involves travel assignments within the region, offering exposure to diverse educational settings and the rewarding chance to make a direct impact on student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology evaluations and therapy to students from kindergarten through grade 12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLP license is required.
- Experience working with school-age children within educational settings is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability for travel assignments.
Assignment Details:
- Full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Work location centered around Port Saint Lucie, Florida, with travel to surrounding schools as needed.
