Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure, or the ability to obtain one prior to start
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Prior experience in a school environment is highly valued
  • Solid communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving approach
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads and document services accurately

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, consistent with their IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students progress and optimize learning outcomes
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress; adjust interventions as needed based on progress and data
  • Participate in IEP meetings, creating and updating speech-language goals and contributing input to student plans
  • Serve as a resource for school staff and families, providing strategies and education about communication disorders
