Step into an impactful opportunity supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Port Saint Lucie and Stuart, Florida areas. Whether you are experienced (SLP-CCC) or seeking your Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF), your expertise and compassion are highly valued in this role serving local schools. Positions are available on a full-time basis, with consideration for part-time applicants.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid FL Speech-Language Pathologist license and Florida teaching certification
- SLP-CCC or eligible SLP-CF candidates welcome
- Fingerprints required in accordance with district guidelines
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to working onsite and engaging directly with students and staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders for a diverse caseload (specifics will be reviewed in the interview process)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes adhering to district standards
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school personnel
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
