Make an impact supporting students' communication needs in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity is tailored for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school settings, ready to serve a diverse K-12 population across three buildings.
Youll collaborate closely with educators and families, helping students overcome speech and language barriers so they can fully participate in classroom life. Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential as you adjust to a mix of student populations and caseloads.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate and SLP Certificate are required
- CCC-SLP credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) preferred
- Experience working in school environments, supporting K-12 students
- Strong collaboration and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable traveling between multiple buildings during the school week
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and deliver speech/language therapy to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to student evaluations
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and families to generalize skills into the classroom and home
- Flexibly manage a caseload across three school sites
- Participate in IEP meetings and other collaborative activities as needed
