Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially within schools
  • Comfortable providing services across age groups: Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12)
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and individualized therapy planning
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organization and adaptability in dynamic school settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions addressing articulation, fluency, language, voice, and social communication
  • Provide support and resources to teachers and families on strategies for classroom inclusion
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of progress and services
  • Consult with educators and support staff to promote language-rich environments
  • Participate in team meetings, workshops, and professional learning opportunities
