Job Description

A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide high-quality speech and language services within a K-12 public school setting. This contract role will be based in the Pooler, GA area and follows the traditional school year calendar. The position offers 37.5 hours per week across 5 days, delivering targeted therapeutic support to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and individualized therapy sessions for K-12 students.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 students.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with school staff.
