Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current GA licensure and certification is needed to support K-8 students in a dynamic school environment located in Pooler, GA. This contract opportunity focuses on providing critical speech and language services to a diverse student population during the current school year with onsite responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-8 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student performance and share reports as required by school policies.
- Adjust caseloads responsively based on shifting needs to prioritize the most critical cases.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification for SLPs.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Expertise in providing direct speech-language pathology services with a student-centered approach.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and caseload demands effectively.
