Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly desired
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support educational success
- Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and input for student plans
- Offer support and resources to teachers and families, enhancing classroom communication strategies
