Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active, valid SLP license in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Proven experience working within school settings
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and evidence-based therapy
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Dedication to collaborative and student-centered service

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy and services to students, ensuring continuity of care in established placements
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and treatment plans suited to individual student needs and goals
  • Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress evaluations, offering clear communication throughout
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
