This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers the opportunity to support elementary-aged students (PreK5) in a school-based, itinerant role located in Ponca City, OK. The role focuses on providing direct therapy, conducting assessments and evaluations, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and participating in IEP meetings for approximately 50 students. With a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week across five days, this position provides the chance to make a meaningful impact in a pediatric educational setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience delivering school-based speech-language services
- Skilled in conducting assessments, evaluations, and crafting IEPs
- Comfortable working with an elementary-aged caseload (PreK5)
- Oklahoma SLP License and CCC-SLP certification required
- Ability to complete fingerprinting prior to start date
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students within PreK5th grade
- Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations to inform therapy plans
- Develop and update IEPs tailored to student needs
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Manage an itinerant caseload, with paid travel included as applicable
Location & Schedule:
- Assignment based in Ponca City, OK
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), five days a week
- Start date is ASAP, with an end date at the conclusion of the school year (exact date TBD)
