Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Ponca City, OK, focusing on providing essential school-based speech-language services to elementary-aged students (PreK5). This contract-to-hire position offers a structured caseload of approximately 50 students and involves a consistent weekly schedule to support student communication development effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to PreK5th grade students
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Attend IEP meetings to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
  • Manage an itinerant caseload, with travel paid if applicable

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Oklahoma SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience in school-based speech-language therapy, preferably with elementary-aged students
  • Ability to perform assessments, evaluations, and IEP development confidently
  • Completion of fingerprinting clearance prior to start date

Schedule and Location:

  • Location: Ponca City, OK 74601
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours/day), Monday through Friday
  • Start Date: ASAP, pending approval; contract end date aligns with the school year conclusion
