A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Ponca City, OK to serve elementary-aged students (PreK5) within a school setting. This contract-to-hire role offers the opportunity to apply your school-based speech-language expertise in a supportive environment, working with a diverse caseload within an itinerant model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to approximately 50 students from PreK to 5th grade
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain documentation and collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Manage an itinerant caseload with travel reimbursement as applicable
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Oklahoma Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) mandatory
- Experience delivering school-based speech-language services to elementary-aged children
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and develop compliant IEPs
- Successful completion of fingerprinting prior to starting the assignment
Job Details:
- Location: Ponca City, Oklahoma
- Position Type: Contract-to-hire, full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Schedule: 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Duration: Beginning ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year (exact end date to be confirmed)
