Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with middle and high school students near Pompano Beach, FL. This contract opportunity offers the chance to deliver specialized speech and language services across two school sites, fostering growth and communication skills among students who need your expertise.

This onsite assignment starts August 24, 2026 and runs through May 27, 2027, with a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Desired Skills & Credentials:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active and valid SLP License in Florida
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Prior experience or strong interest in working with adolescent populations
  • Ability to effectively manage a caseload across multiple sites
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative spirit to work with a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to integrate therapy goals
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and document service delivery
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive teaching and learning environment across two school campuses
