Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to support K-12 students within a large and diverse school district in West Palm Beach, FL. This full-time contract position runs through the current school year until May 29, 2026, serving multiple school locations across the county with caseloads varying by site and student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across the K-12 spectrum, including those with regular education, ASD, pre-K, and various special needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting according to district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in on-site screenings, assessments, and prescreen interviews as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license from the Department of Health.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including students with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and other disabilities preferred.
  • Completion of fingerprinting and clearance via the AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to undergo new fingerprinting.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day).

Location:

  • On-site positions available at multiple schools within the district; candidates must be able to travel to assigned schools.
