Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) opportunity is available in Pompano Beach, FL, serving K-12 students across multiple schools within Palm Beach County. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, offering 35 hours per week of on-site work.

Responsibilities include providing speech-language services to students ranging from pre-kindergarten through high school, with caseloads varying by assignment and location. You will work with diverse student populations, including those with regular education needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delays, and other communication disorders. Supervision for Clinical Fellows is available; however, Speech Language Pathology Assistants are not accepted for this role.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Active Florida provisional Speech Language Pathologist License issued by the Department of Health
  • Eligibility to complete fingerprinting and clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to undergo new fingerprinting as required
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy for students with diverse communication needs
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Flexibility to serve at multiple school sites across the county, with caseload and age groups assigned based on location

Primary duties include delivering speech-language pathology services aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with educators and families, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in professional development.
