Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland SLP License and Maryland Teaching Certificate required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience supporting speech and language development in school-aged children is highly valued
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to onsite service delivery throughout the entire school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students across K-12, adapting interventions based on unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Accurately document progress and maintain required records in compliance with policy and best practices
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and contributing to team-based planning
