Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP License and Maryland Teaching Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience supporting speech and language development in school-aged children is highly valued
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to onsite service delivery throughout the entire school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to students across K-12, adapting interventions based on unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Accurately document progress and maintain required records in compliance with policy and best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and contributing to team-based planning
