Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for Oregon, or eligibility to obtain before start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in a school setting preferred, though not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students with identified needs
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs and 504 plans)
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, special educators, and parents
- Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and comply with special education laws and procedures
- Support a diverse caseload across different grade levels, adapting techniques to suit each students developmental stage
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support academic achievement
