Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for New York state
- SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Familiarity with a variety of therapy techniques for diverse language, articulation, and fluency needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions tailored to each child's needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and documentation
- Track and report on student progress, maintaining thorough records
- Provide consultative services and resources for staff and families
- Stay up to date with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
