Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship applicants encouraged
  • Experience with school-age populations preferred
  • Proficient communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with IEP process and school-based documentation requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in coordination with IEP teams
  • Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and data collection for progress monitoring
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
