Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
- Recent experience working with children or adolescents in a school or educational setting
- Familiarity with conducting evaluations, writing reports, and implementing IEPs
- Strong communicative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication needs using standardized assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in coordination with academic staff and families
- Monitor student progress, document therapy sessions, and adjust goals as needed for optimal outcomes
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions to support student success
- Provide direct speech and language therapyboth individual and group sessionstailored to diverse student needs
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families on speech/language development and strategies
