Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license (or eligibility) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred, though clinical fellowship applicants are welcome
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions and strategies to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions for speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear documentation and progress updates
- Offer consultation and resources to educators regarding classroom accommodations
