  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid SLP license in Texas (or eligibility)
  • Experience working in educational settings, preferably with diverse student populations
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with IEP procedures, progress monitoring, and documentation standards
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and dedicated to student growth

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Evaluating students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
  • Developing and implementing effective treatment plans aligned with student IEPs
  • Delivering direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in groups
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary discussions
  • Staying current with best practices and school district standards
