Job Description

A K-12 school in Richardson, Texas is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position for the current school year. This hybrid role includes opportunities to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) and support a diverse caseload within the school setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Texas SLP license is required
  • Experience working with students in K-12 settings
  • Familiarity with school-based speech therapy practices and regulations
  • Ability to supervise SLPA staff and collaborate with educational teams

Location:

  • Richardson, Texas (K-12 school environment)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and individualized therapy plans for students
  • Deliver direct therapy services to support communication goals across a range of speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to integrate speech-language goals into academic settings
  • Supervise and mentor SLPA personnel as part of the speech services team
  • Maintain required documentation and comply with applicable school policies and state regulations

Position Details:

  • Contract role for the current school year
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Hybrid work arrangement combining on-site and remote responsibilities
