A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within school settings. This travel assignment is based in Plainfield, NJ, offering the chance to work directly with students to enhance their communication abilities and support their academic growth.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques tailored to diverse speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability for travel assignments
Location:
- Assignment located in Plainfield, New Jersey
- Travel-based role, providing services across multiple school sites within the area
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
