Job Description

Make a genuine impact supporting students across El Dorado County by providing high-quality speech-language pathology services in a variety of school settings for the 2026/27 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, ranging from mild to moderateand occasionally severeneeds, with the added excitement of engaging with multiple school communities throughout the county.

What youll do:

  • Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with education professionals, caregivers, and administrators to design and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide documentation and maintain data in compliance with district and SEIS guidelines
  • Offer onsite supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs, if assigned
  • Adapt flexibly to changing locations and assignments during the school year
  • Travel to various district locations as needed, with most sites spanning from El Dorado Hills to Camino

Preferred background:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Experience in school-based settings and familiarity with SEIS documentation a plus
  • Comfortable with itinerant work, varied caseloads, and frequent travel within the district
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, staff, and families
  • New grads (CFs) and SLPAs welcomeonsite support is available
