Job Description
Make a genuine impact supporting students across El Dorado County by providing high-quality speech-language pathology services in a variety of school settings for the 2026/27 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, ranging from mild to moderateand occasionally severeneeds, with the added excitement of engaging with multiple school communities throughout the county.
What youll do:
- Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with education professionals, caregivers, and administrators to design and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide documentation and maintain data in compliance with district and SEIS guidelines
- Offer onsite supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs, if assigned
- Adapt flexibly to changing locations and assignments during the school year
- Travel to various district locations as needed, with most sites spanning from El Dorado Hills to Camino
Preferred background:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Experience in school-based settings and familiarity with SEIS documentation a plus
- Comfortable with itinerant work, varied caseloads, and frequent travel within the district
- Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, staff, and families
- New grads (CFs) and SLPAs welcomeonsite support is available
