Job Description

A dynamic contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve an elementary and high school caseload in Lehman, PA. This position supports K-12 students, primarily elementary with some high school, presenting a diverse range of disabilities including Autism, Specific Learning Disability (SLD), Other Health Impairment (OHI), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Intellectual Disability (ID). The role begins September 10, 2025, and concludes January 15, 2026, offering 30 hours per week with flexible start times between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, including school and teletherapy settings
  • Familiarity with working in healthcare environments and CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) completion preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 65 students
  • Knowledge of effective therapeutic strategies for diverse disabilities within K-12 populations

Location and schedule specifics:

  • Position located in Lehman, PA within a K-12 educational setting
  • 30 hours per week with varying start/end times to accommodate scheduling needs
  • Contract duration: September 10, 2025 January 15, 2026

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations and interventions for students with varying disabilities
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to promote student success
  • Delivering therapy services both onsite and potentially through teletherapy methods
  • Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and policies
