Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in the Henrietta, NY area as a dedicated speech-language pathologist. This position spans the 2026-2027 school year, providing essential services to young learners and collaborating closely with educators and families. Youll find satisfaction in making a positive impact on student communication and development while working a steady 35-hour work week alongside a supportive team.
Candidates should possess strong skills in school-based SLP services, including experience or certification in SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, SLP-Healthcare, and SLP-Pediatrics. Comfort with teletherapy platforms is a plus, as well as adaptability as caseload specifics are finalized. Two openings are available for professionals ready to contribute knowledge and compassion to the school community.
Requirements:
- Current NY SLP License
- Demonstrated experience with K-12 populations
- ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY credentials
- Familiarity with pediatric and school-based SLP services
- Comfortable with technology; teletherapy experience preferred
- Collaboration and communication skills
- Reliability for a full 35-hour week throughout the academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized plans and deliver engaging therapy
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation
- Communicate with families and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt services as caseload and student needs evolve
