Job Description
A Massachusetts-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to support K-12 students managing diverse speech and language needs. This contract position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours in a school setting located in Pittsfield, MA. The role involves working directly with students across all grade levels, delivering individualized assessments and therapy plans to enhance communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to K-12 students, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the academic environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with a K-12 caseload preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment and intervention techniques
- Ability to tailor therapy to meet the developmental and educational needs of diverse students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
