Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting near Pittsfield, MA. This contract opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time professionals who are dedicated to helping students achieve their communication and language goals.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to manage K-12 caseloads, adapting approaches for diverse ages and needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable integrating assistive technology and IEP documentation as needed
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students across K-12 grades
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to meet student IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Document treatment activities and maintain required records in accordance with district and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress reports, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide training or resources for classroom staff to facilitate carryover of communication strategies
