Job Description

A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a school setting serving students in grades 6 through 12. This contract position is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and welcomes both experienced professionals and clinical fellows who are licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for middle and high school students.
  • Provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
  • Actively participate in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
  • Experience working in Pennsylvania schools is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must be comfortable performing both assessments and providing therapy.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Clinical fellows licensed in PA are encouraged to apply.
