Key Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Previous experience with pediatric and school-based speech therapy, particularly in elementary and middle school populations
- Strong skills in administration, assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload virtually while maintaining high-quality, individualized care
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, school staff, and colleagues
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
- Utilize technology efficiently to deliver services and communicate virtually when needed
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment that celebrates student growth and achievement
