Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- New Jersey state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong CFY candidates considered
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to diverse student needs
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students in group and one-to-one formats
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
