Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • New Jersey state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong CFY candidates considered
  • Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to diverse student needs

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Provide direct therapy sessions to students in group and one-to-one formats
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
