Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to support K-12 students in an educational setting. This role offers flexibility with onsite work in Pinson, AL, or remote options. The position requires working four days per week from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, serving approximately 50 students across grades K through 12.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Implement speech therapy sessions to address communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation of sessions and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required for onsite candidates.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working within school settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and school staff.
