Job Description

This contract-to-hire opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide expert speech and language therapy services, closely collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals. Youll help students enhance their academic and social success, working with diverse caseloads and age groups in a school-based environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are considered
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to connect with students, staff, and families
  • Ready to pass required background checks and health screenings

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, or communication disorders
  • Develop and implement IEP goals for individual students, ensuring compliance with educational standards
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions in group or individual formats
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy data
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation in the educational environment
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student needs, progress, and resources
