This full-time role welcomes a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, and is open to experienced SLPs with CCC, as well as SLP-CFY professionals eager to grow in a supportive school setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MN Department of Education SLP License required
- Accepting applicants with SLP-CCC or those completing SLP-CFY
- School-based experience preferred but not necessary; strong clinical foundation and passion for working with children encouraged
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, intervention, and therapy for K-12 students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to facilitate student success
- Document progress and maintain compliance with federal, state, and school protocols
- Consult and support general education teachers regarding strategies to maximize student participation
- Engage with parents and caregivers to support student goals and communicate measurable outcomes effectively
