Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active Louisiana SLP license
  • Louisiana Teaching Certificate required
  • Recent experience in school-based settings, supporting students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Administer assessments and provide detailed treatment plans addressing communication disorders
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to promote students academic and functional success
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress made
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations as part of a multidisciplinary team

This is a full-time onsite assignment, providing 37.5 hours of rewarding work each week during the 20262027 school year.
