Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide consultant services and resources to faculty and parents regarding speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decisions regarding student support
