Desired Experience and Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Ohio SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; will consider Clinical Fellow (CF) applicants
- Experience or genuine interest in working with K-12 students, including those with diverse communication needs
- Solid communication and collaboration abilities for working alongside educators, administrators, and families
- Strong organization and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to create effective communication strategies
- Maintain thorough and timely student records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
- Engage in professional development activities as appropriate
