Job Description

In this rewarding contract role, youll provide speech-language pathology services to students across multiple settings in the wider Aston and Broomall area, conveniently located near Phoenixville, PA. Flexible scheduling offers the opportunity for full-time or part-time workprofessionals interested in a minimum of two days per week are encouraged to apply.

You'll work with caseloads in a variety of school environments, including an autistic support classroom in Aston, as well as itinerant services in surrounding communities such as Media, Brookhaven, Glen Mills, Chaddsford, Upper Darby, Yeadon, Ridley, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, Clifton Heights, Wayne, and Lansdowne.

Qualifications:

  • Possess ASHA Certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Hold an active PDE Certification
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Availability for immediate start
  • Ability to coordinate and travel to various sites around the communities listed above

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students individually or in groups across multiple school settings
  • Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team to develop and implement IEPs for students
  • Consult and collaborate with educators and families to ensure the best outcomes for students communication needs
  • Complete required documentation and progress monitoring in a timely manner
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet a diverse caseload, including supporting students in autistic support classrooms and those served itinerantly
