Location: Peoria, Arizona
Position Type: Full-Time, School-Based
Schedule: 37.5 Hours per Week
School Year: August 3, 2026 May 20, 2027
Openings: 4 Speech-Language Pathologists
Work Hours: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Now Hiring: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists in Peoria, AZ
We are seeking 4 dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to join a supportive school district in Peoria, Arizona for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about helping students develop communication skills and achieve academic success in a collaborative educational environment.
These full-time positions serve K-8 students across 2-3 school sites with manageable caseloads and strong district support.
Position Highlights
- Full-time school-based SLP position
- 37.5 hours per week
- August 3, 2026 May 20, 2027
- Serving K-8 students
- Assigned to 2-3 school sites
- Caseload at approximately 60-65 students
- Consistent school schedule with weekends, evenings, and holidays off
Available Assignments Traditional School-Based Speech & Language Positions (2 Openings)
- K-8 campus assignments
- Evaluation, treatment, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language disorders
- IEP participation and documentation
- Collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff
Autism Program Positions (2 Openings)
- Specialized programs supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Focus on communication development, social language skills, and functional communication
- Work closely with special education teams and related service providers
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with diverse communication needs
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Consult with families, teachers, and educational staff
- Support student progress toward academic and communication goals
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Arizona SLP License
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Card
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
